IPSA's Organisation Chart; payroll; expenses claims forms

Under the Freedom of Information Act, please can you provide me with the following?

  1. Organisation chart for IPSA;

  2. Organisation chart for each department within IPSA;

  3. Do you provide an internal payroll service or do you outsource the service, in which case what is the name of the service provider;

  4. Name of the Commercial “Off the shelf” expenses management system product IPSA uses

  5. Copy of the expense claim forms used by IPSA personnel.

Response

Please find enclosed an organisation chart for IPSA, correct on 2 December 2010. This chart contains a breakdown for each department within IPSA and reflects the permanent positions held within. IPSA does employ a number of temporary members of staff whose positions are not reflected in this chart.

IPSA provides an internal payroll service. The payroll team administer the payroll for MPs, MPs’ staff and IPSA staff.

The expense@work online expense system used by IPSA is a commercial off the shelf (COTS) application designed and supplied by systems@work, a subcontractor of Calyx Group, who is our IT solutions provider.

You also requested a copy of the expense claim forms used by IPSA staff. Please find a copy of the claim form enclosed.
